LINK digital is the digitalization partner for grid expansion projects of three German transmission system operators. As a subsidiary of 50Hertz, TenneT and TransnetBW, LINK digital develops and operates a scalable platform for the digital execution of grid infrastructure projects.

The expansion of Germany’s transmission grids is a cornerstone of the energy transition. With the growth of renewable energy, especially wind power generated along the North and Baltic Seas, electricity is no longer produced close to industrial centers and metropolitan areas. A network of direct current lines will transport power from the north to the south and east, while further strengthening grid stability.
